Atsushi Sakurai was the main lyricist and vocalist of the experimental Japanese band Buck-Tick for almost 40 years. His career came to an abrupt halt when he passed away at the age of 57 on October 19, 2023.

Integrity, passion, and love were his lifeblood. His legacy as one of the most noteable (if not revolutionary) Japanese musicians to date remains untouched. I, the webmaster of this fansite, am coding this in honor of the second anniversary of his death: I believe we should celebrate his accomplishments and life rather than spend our time in misery. That is what he would've wanted, and that is what the other members have explicity said they want, as well. Peace and love.
